FeodosiyaFeodosia – "given by God" is curative and tourist center of the South-East Crimea with the most developed infrastructure of leisure and service. There are very ancient monument, city accounts more than 2500 years and evidences of near past neighboring modern housing and excellent sanatoriums. In 1924, Yuzovka was renamed into Stalino. For some weeks the name of the city was Trotsk, but there is few people now remember it.
The climate of Feodosia is warm and dry enough combining the influence of sea, lowland and foothills. High temperature in summer could be stand easily because of sea breezes. The winter is short with little snow. You can swim in the sea from May to October. By the average annual quantity of sun shining (2212) Feodosia excels many other Southern resorts. The air of Feodosia is full of spicy aroma of steppe and foothills, salty and iodic sea breeze and… breath of history. Medieval buildings are allocated at the streets of provincial sea town of XIX-XX centuries and among modern micro districts. They give the impression of picturesque and unforgettable coloring, but not the odd eclectic or rough mixture of architecture styles. Feodosia, Ardabda, Kafa, Keffe, Kefa, Feodosia. 2500 years long circle has been locked. The circle of brilliant flowering and deep decay, circle of glory and oblivion.
